Ben Shemano specializes in estate and custom jewelry and one-of-a-kind creations.
We discovered this great shop while working for another client we had in common. They had a simple website in place, but it was a little dated looking, and needed some other fundamental updates.
Their basic website needed to be updated to be responsive and mobile friendly, but we also thought it would be a great time to introduce a catalogue of the creations so that visitors could see the fine craftsmanship and variety. That way we could build on their three strengths – Buying, Selling and Custom Work.
Their main hope for this new site was to continue to drive customers to visit them in their Union Square Showroom, so instead of a full E-commerce shopping cart experience, we implemented a WordPress and WooCommerce shop, but customized it to function as a catalog, so that visitors could browse the jewelry, but didn't (and couldn't) buy anything without getting in touch. Ultimately, they were very pleased with the results.
