Open Channel is a joint effort to provide relief aid to over 20,000 homebound residents, in the even of a disaster, and to help responders effectively serve their needs. Currently, seniors and at risk shut-ins are only documented on paper lists, limited to each precinct and with no automated, or co-ordinated notification system.
Open Chanel aims to equip each member with an easy-to-use client-based system that mimics a simple alarm clock, until there is an emergency. They came to us to design the products for both end users and responders. We designed the interface for computers, tablets and smartphones.
We also designed their documentation and presentations to help with successful pitches to the City of San Francisco and potential backers.
Open Channel is an ongoing concern, and we will be continuing to provide them with solid product designs and marketing materials.
